I'm in the desert, and it is June. Not only is there no ice around, but there isn't even any water around to make some. So I had to make my own, and then let it slowly melt. A recommendation for anybody planning to take pictures of an ice cube on a sheet of glass - find a slightly concave piece of glass. My ice kept creeping around and trying to slide off the edge.
