Ryan's "Monster"

Everyone knows that monsters hide in the fog on dark nights, but I didn't find any.

Cory's Monster

My late Christmas present arrived this week - a monster of a telescope.  Of course, it has been cloudy and rainy ever since it got here.  But that didn't stop be from taking out into a break in the clouds on a brightly moonlit night to see what I could see!

Fred's "Monster"

Something lurks in the closet at the bottom of the basement steps.

Fred's "Hungry"

As much as we feed this little guy, he just keeps eating and eating.

Cory's Hungry

I guess it's time to go grocery shopping.  Everybody's getting too hungry.

Ryan's "Silent"

My sister (who is rarely silent) apparently wishes to silence our mother:

Mom made it out with her tongue intact.

Cory's Silent

Emily helped me out again this week.  Lucky for you, pictures only convey light and are completely silent.  It wasn't that way when I took the picture.

Fred's "Drop"

A drop, with a bit of assistance from Paul.

Ryan's "Drop"

Most people drop out of the sky when they try to fly.

My Dad... not so much:

Mike's "Drop"

I had never tried this with my Nikon flash.  Did it a couple of years ago with my old Vivitar and had to try all sorts of things.
Anyway.  This is my drip or drop or droplet.  You can tell its mine, because if you look really close, I and the camera are inside the bubble!  You will also notice the standard Millard calcium buildup complete with its iron oxide.

Cory's Drop

I've been collecting a list of things to do to the Beetle's engine for a while now (replace the clutch, replace some seals, replace the thermostat, and others), and I finally decided to take the plunge and drop the engine out of it a couple of weeks ago.  Here's where the project currently sits: the engine on an engine stand, the car on jack stands, and me slowly making progress toward getting it all fixed up.
