Last Sunday we packed two adults, two kids, one cat, and lots of junk into our two cars and fled Los Alamos as the mountains behind the town burnt. We dropped a load of the junk off at DesertDave's place before heading to Omaha for the rest of the week, and all but one of my lenses was among the castoffs. So when I got to my parents' house and wanted to take a picture of one of the sanded-down nails in their floor, I had the wrong lens for the job. But that didn't stop me!

Cory's Floor
