The 4th was very low key this year, being that much of the area around us seemed to be on fire and we had just returned from the U.K. two days before and were still getting used to the time change. Sitting around my in-laws while waiting for the bbq to finish cooking I looked down and snapped this photo of the bazillion or so ants that seem to have erupted in force this summer.
