I'm going to be in Boston this weekend, so here's an early submission.
It turns out the signature line on my checks isn't a line at all - it's actually the words "authorized signature" written in very tiny letters over and over. I had to zoom in so close to get them that you can actually see the individual fibers of the paper too. Amazing!
